CIGI Combine to Customer 2019
The Canadian International Grains Institute (CIGI) is planning three short programs for western Canadian wheat producers in February and March 2019. These Combine to Customer programs will look at the evolving grain industry in Western Canada.
The program will include a number of senior level speakers who will provide insight into where the grain industry is heading and what needs to be done to stay competitive and meet the ever-changing requirements of domestic and international grain buyers. Producers who participated in these programs in previous years provided very positive feedback about the experience and the knowledge gained through this opportunity. To learn more about the Combine to Customer Program, please contact Brian Kennedy (contact information below) or view this video at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzfUZ5dkp-8
CIGI will pay all costs for each participant attending a Combine to Customer program (flights, hotels, meals, airport transfers). CIGI will also coordinate all travel and other arrangements.
To better accomodate growers, CIGI offers three Combine to Customer Program dates:
February 10 to 13, 2019
February 19 to 22, 2019
March 10 to 13, 2019
CIGI is recruiting 10 participants for each program from Alberta. Participants should be active wheat growers, not retired or retiring in the near future, and the primary decision makers on their farm. To the extent possible, we would like to recruit one grower per farming operation to achieve the greatest diversity amongst the group.
Interested Alberta growers please contact Brian Kennedy at email@example.com or 403-219-7904. Deadline for intake is December 14, 2018.
