AWC offers graduate students a chance to win a free FarmTech™ 2016 pass
With over 50 world-class speaker sessions and hundreds of producers to network with, FarmTech™ is a prime opportunity for Alberta’s graduate students to take in one of the best professional development opportunities in the agriculture industry.
Alberta Wheat Commission (AWC) sees great value in investing in our future scientific experts in crop production and variety development. That’s why we are pleased to invite graduate students undergoing agriculture-related studies to enter our contest to win 1 of 5 FarmTech™ conference passes.
If you are conducting graduate research at an Alberta post-secondary institution in an agriculture field in an area that impacts wheat production, you are eligible for a chance to win a free FarmTech™ pass.
To enter our draw, students must write 300 words (maximum) on their research and why attending FarmTech™ would benefit them in their training. Responses can be emailed to Lauren Comin, AWC Research Manager, at lcomin@albertawheat by January 4th, 2016. AWC will draw five applicants on January 4th and will contact the winners. Successful applicants may be required to complete a short article detailing their experience.
FarmTech™ 2016 is being held on January 26, 27 and 28th at the Edmonton EXPO Centre at Northlands and is hosted by Alberta Barley, the Alberta Canola Producers Commission, the Alberta Pulse Growers, the Alberta Seed Growers Association, and the Alberta Wheat Commission.
